Into Greenland:
The required flight is from Keflavik international airport in Iceland to Kulusuk, Greenland. The carrier is Icelandair. The Icelandair flight can be arranged on its website, with date full-flexibility recommended. This flight is not included in the expedition price and is arranged by you.
Out of Greenland:
Our exit airport is Kangerlussuaq situated in west Greenland, flights are with Air Greenland to Copenhagen, Denmark. This flight is not included in the expedition price and can be arranged on the Air Greenland website. The standard flexible fare or premium flexible fare are suggested.
(West to East 2025)

Into Greenland:
To reach the start point of Kangerlussuaq situated in west Greenland, flights are with Air Greenland from Copenhagen, Denmark, via Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. This flight is not included in the expedition price and can be arranged on the Air Greenland website. The standard flexible fare or premium flexible fare are suggested.
Out of Greenland:
We ski into Isortoq to end our expedition. We spend the next couple days enjoying this very remote, tiny and unique village.
From Isortoq, we take a 30 minute helicopter with Air Greenland from Isortoq to Tasiilaq. Tasiilaq is the largest village in East Greenland. and an enjoyable place to spend a night. The following day we take a 10 minute Air Greenland helicopter from Tasiilaq to Kulusuk. These two helicopter journeys are included in the expedition price.
From Kulusuk, a runway enables planes to land for the onward flight on to Reykjavik, Iceland. Icelandair fly from Kulusuk to Reykjavik, Iceland, which is the gateway to East Greenland. The Icelandair flight can be arranged on its website, with date full-flexibility recommended. This flight is not included in the expedition price and is arranged by you.
From Reykjavik international airport, daily flights to many European/North American destinations are possible.

When making flight arrangements, please bear in mind that if we encounter very bad weather or other unforeseen delay on the expedition, the end date may be exceeded by up to several days. Although we will do our best to avoid any such delay, your flight tickets out of East Greenland should be of the flexible kind to allow date changes. Similarly, a fast moving expedition in good weather conditions can complete the expedition in 24-27 days, hence the possibility of departing Greenland earlier than the itinerary dates.
